Introduction to Log Homes

Well built log structures provide an energy efficient and aesthetically pleasing home to live or vacation in.

With proper maintenance and support, the lifespan of a log home can be several hundred years. Your home’s value, as well as its warmth and security are retained year after year.

Solid timber buildings have also proven to withstand fire better than most conventional structures, and can be more easily restored because the inherent strength in logs is seldom weakened substantially.

Our typical building material for both walls and roof systems is top quality 14" average diameter, hand peeled, air-dried, Eastern slope, slow growth Alberta White Spruce.

Other wood species and sizes can also be used to accommodate your desires or requirements.

As with all timber taken off of public lands, the wood we use is reforested on a minimum of a 1 to 1 basis. This is the basis for our eco-friendly approach to environmental stewardship & carbon sequestration.
